Design and delivery of equipment:

We performed the package of engineering works: design, manufacturing, delivery and installation of the belt conveyor system (8 units with different lengths). The material is fed to the warehouse by the belt conveyor with a loop-type reclaimer with the capacity of 1500 tons per hour. The material is unloaded from the warehouse to the inlet hoppers installed on the reversible belt conveyor. At the station the rotor-type side-discharge and uncoupling dumping machine is used for the railcar unloading. The hopper with a feeder for feeding raw materials to the belt conveyor is installed under the dumping machine. The belt conveyor system is used for transportation between warehouses. They are equipped with automated systems of belt velocity control (not more than 2 m/s), belt run-off control, motor vibration, temperature.

This system has a high level of automation: the equipment is operated in semi-automatic or fully-automatic modes. The control is performed from the control room. Protective devices are provided for the safe operation of the automated control systems: emergency switches, enclosures of driving and take-up stations with cut-off devices, interlocks, etc.

The feature of this project became the requirement to environmental protection when the conveyor system is in operation. The following was provided for dust emission control: sealing of loading areas with protective enclosures, use of aspirating systems to exhaust the dusty air, devices for dust-free cleaning of return run of the conveyor belt, smooth conveyor belt splicing. The belt velocity control is also aimed at the dust emission control.

The work has been carried out in close cooperation with other contractors as the delivery and installation of conveyors were performed in parallel with the construction of all systems (acceptance, transportation, storage).

This project is also an example of import substitution. Often already at the stage of the equipment installation the tasks of introduction of design changes arise. Unlike other contractors and taking into account this particularity JSC “SIA “Akonit” facilitated to the maximum the procedure of agreement and introduction of changes. It does not require stopping the warehouse operation that is important for continuous operation of the port 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Equipment for warehouses capable of operating in difficult aggressive conditions, technical solutions for the organization of transportation and storage of chemical production materials. Already working, solving customers' problems. Such references will be presented at the exhibition KHIMIA-2022 by the leader of the Russian mechanical engineering in the field of bulk materials transportation - SIA Akonit.
